Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”, “Terms of Service”, “TOS”) and the Privacy Policy carefully before using this website, FreeSSL.tech (the “Service”, “FreeSSL.tech”, “Website”, “Site”), ‘FreeSSL.tech Auto’ app/client (the “App”, “Client”) or ‘Auto-Install Free SSL’ WordPress plugin (the “Plugin”) developed and operated by Anindya Sundar Mandal. (“us”, “we”, or “our”).

By using our service, the app (client), plugin or accessing our website, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. This terms of service are legally binding and govern your use of our website and service.

If you do not agree with any part of the Terms of Service or the Privacy Policy, please stop using our website, app (client), plugin, or service immediately.

We may amend our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy from time to time and post on this website. All content present on this Website, on the app (client), plugin and the source code of the app (client), plugin are the exclusive property of Anindya Sundar Mandal, including all the software, text, articles, images, graphics, video and audio used on this Website, on the app (client), and on the plugin. ‘FreeSSL.tech’, ‘FreeSSL.tech Auto’, and ‘Auto-Install Free SSL’ are the name, trademarks, and brand which belong to and are owned by Anindya Sundar Mandal. These trademarks and logos may not be used in any manner without prior written consent from Anindya Sundar Mandal.

2. Username and Password Security

We encrypt your password using Bcrypt, which is industry standard. However, you are responsible for maintaining the privacy of your username and password, if any, and you are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your username and password. FreeSSL.tech or WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE ARISING FROM YOUR FAILURE TO SUFFICIENTLY SAFEGUARD YOUR USERNAME AND PASSWORD.

3. Use of this Website

The content included in this Website, in the app (client), and plugin are solely for the personal or commercial use of website users. You may not copy, modify, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, transfer, publish, license, or sell any of the contents of this Website, the app (client), and the plugin without the prior written consent of Anindya Sundar Mandal. Unauthorized use of the materials appearing on this Website may violate copyright, trademark and other applicable laws, and could result in criminal or civil penalties.

4. Links to Third-Party Sites

Some of the links on FreeSSL.tech may allow you to leave the FreeSSL.tech website. Third-party sites to which FreeSSL.tech site may link (“Third-Party Linked Sites”) are not in any way under our control, and WE DO NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY OR LIABILITY FOR ANY INFORMATION, CONTENT, COMMUNICATIONS, SERVICES, GOODS OR OTHER MATERIALS AVAILABLE ON SUCH THIRD-PARTY LINKED SITES OR FOR ANY CHANGES OR UPDATES TO SUCH SITES.

5. Payment Terms

The Let’s Encrypt free SSL certificate creation/automation app (client), plugin offered by FreeSSL.tech and our WordPress plugin ‘Auto-Install Free SSL’ are entirely free of cost except for the premium versions. We provide the required tool, app (client) or plugin for free. However, this is a ‘do it yourself’ (DIY) app (client), plugin. You need to do everything (download, upload, installation, configuration etc.) yourself. If you need our help to do the required works for you, that service is chargeable. Please contact us by sending email to , tell us your requirements, and we’ll send you a quotation. You need to make the payment in advance to start working.

6. Refund Policy

‘Auto-Install Free SSL’ WordPress plugin & FreeSSL.tech Auto (PHP App)

14‑Day Money‑Back Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our plugin, and your satisfaction with it is of utmost importance to us. If you purchase a license and, within 14 days, the plugin or PHP app is unusable and we cannot resolve the problem after reasonable remediation (see Support & remediation below), you are eligible for a full refund.

If you purchase but do not download the premium files (we track downloads) and request a refund within 14 days, we will issue a full refund with no questions asked.

Note: These are digital products. If you download, you can’t return them (like physical products). Once the premium files are downloaded the refund conditions below apply.

System requirements & cPanel behavior

  • In addition to the minimum system requirements for the free plugin mentioned in the plugin description, the premium Auto‑Install Free SSL plugin requires cPanel API access to automatically install the generated SSL certificates.
  • If your control panel is not cPanel, the plugin will still automatically validate your domain ownership and generate/renew certificates, but it cannot automatically install them. This limitation is a system constraint and is not a standalone reason for a refund.

Complimentary one‑time alternatives (no extra cost)

If automatic installation is not possible due to the absence of cPanel, we will provide one of the following one-time solutions (value: $49) at no extra charge. You must contact us after purchase and cooperate as described in Support & remediation.

  1. Linux VPS / Dedicated (with root access) — we install a bash script to enable automatic SSL installation.
  2. No root access — Cloudflare option — configure automation via Cloudflare. This requires updating your domain’s nameservers to Cloudflare. DNS records will be preserved; your website and email will continue to function. We’ll use our Cloudflare account unless you request to use your Cloudflare account.
  3. No root access and you do not want nameserver changes — we will manually install the SSL certificate once and provide step‑by‑step documentation for future manual installations. If your web host doesn’t provide the option to install SSL certificates of your choice, we won’t be able to proceed. This is a system limitation of your web hosting provider and is not a standalone reason for a refund. If you are not sure about this option, please contact your web hosting provider before purchasing our premium plugin.

All alternatives require your active cooperation and provision of requested access details.

Support & remediation timeline

Before a refund is issued you must open a support ticket explaining the issue (via the Contact Us menu in the plugin’s admin settings or our website’s contact form) and allow us a reasonable time to attempt a fix.

Reasonable time = up to 7 working days after we receive all required information and access credentials (in most cases we resolve within 2–3 working days).

We may request temporary admin, cPanel/server, domain registrar or DNS provider access. You must provide these credentials or the refund request will be ineligible. If 2‑factor authentication (2FA) prevents timely access, please temporarily disable it or allow a scheduled support session (this may add up to 3 working days).

Refund eligibility checklist

To qualify for a refund you must meet all of the following:

  • Request the refund within 14 days of the original purchase date.
  • Attempt to resolve the issue with our support team (support ticket opened).
  • The problem prevents the plugin/app from performing its basic function and cannot be fixed by us within the remediation window.
  • Provided all requested access details and information needed for troubleshooting.

Non‑refundable situations

Refunds will not be granted for the following (including but not limited to):

  • Refund requested after the 14‑day window.
  • Your server or hosting plan does not meet the plugin’s minimum system requirements. (Please confirm requirements with your host before purchase.)
  • You downloaded the premium files and simply decide not to use the plugin.
  • Missing feature(s) that were not confirmed prior to purchase. Contact us if unsure.
  • Incompatibility or conflicts with third‑party themes, plugins, software, or services.
  • Issues caused by third‑party code or services.
  • License tier upgrade, renewal, or repeated purchases.
  • cPanel API or SSL installation feature is blocked/disabled by your web hosting provider.
  • You already had an SSL certificate from your host and purchased the plugin unaware of that fact.
  • Any services (non‑plugin work) purchased from us — service fees are non‑refundable regardless of use or satisfaction.

How to request a refund

Open a refund support ticket through the plugin’s Contact Us menu or our contact form and include:

  • Purchase date and order ID.
  • Description of the issue and the steps you’ve already taken to resolve the issue with our support team.

We will respond and, if eligible, process your refund after the support and remediation steps are completed.

Final notes

By purchasing the premium plugin or PHP app you agree to this Refund Policy. If you don’t agree to the refund policy, please don’t purchase. If you need help confirming system requirements or whether automatic SSL installation is supported on your hosting plan, please contact us before purchasing.

7. Revisions and Changes Policy

Once you place an order, we’ll assign a web developer to the project. You are deemed to have read the progress emails sent by the web developer. Upon complete or delivery (where applicable) the final work service, you shall have seven days to request revisions and changes, if required. After the seven days have passed, the project shall be closed, and no further revisions and changes will be made.

8. Communications

Communications are made via email to the email address provided to FreeSSL.tech by the user. All emails shall be believed to have been received upon dispatch.

9. No Warranty

THE INFORMATION, THE APP (CLIENT), PLUGIN AND SERVICE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITH NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, AND YOU USE THE APP (CLIENT), PLUGIN OR THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE SCOPE OF WORK OF THE ASSIGNMENT IS PROVIDED BY AND IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PERSON SUBMITTING SUCH ASSIGNMENT. FreeSSL.tech does not represent that all information provided in the website and the official blog it is accurate, correct, complete, reliable, or otherwise valid. FreeSSL.tech does not endorse or recommend, and expressly disclaims liability for the app (client), plugin, any service, product, manufacturer, distributor, service or service provider mentioned in any document produced by us. Further FreeSSL.tech does not endorse or support any opinion expressed in our work product.

10. Disclaimer

THE SITE including, ALL THIRD PARTY LINKED SITES and ALL SERVICES, CONTENT, and MATERIALS PROVIDED IN THE SITE ARE PROVIDED TO YOU ON AN “AS IS, WITH ALL FAULTS” BASIS, AND YOUR USE OF SUCH SITES, SERVICES, CONTENT AND MATERIALS IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. This agreement is in person to person basis and is non-transferable, and you may not assign your rights or obligations to any third party on your behalf.
